Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong C# / .NET skills, with solid experience in ASP.NET Core web applications.
- Strong TypeScript skills and experience with a modern frontend framework (Angular preferred).
- Working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries and using an ORM or data access layer.
- Proficiency in unit testing, with experience in integration or end-to-end testing.
- Strong Git skills, including branching, rebasing, and managing pull requests.
- Ability to read and understand unfamiliar codebases.
- Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
- Genuine interest in security and building knowledge in application security.
Responsibilities
- Remediate security vulnerabilities including dependency upgrades, code-level fixes, credential rotation, and container/Kubernetes hardening.
- Write unit and functional tests to prove vulnerabilities are addressed and features function correctly.
- Manage major version upgrades end to end, diagnosing and resolving build or behavior issues.
- Document analyses and solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate across teams to gather context, coordinate efforts, and perform code reviews.
- Coordinate credential rotations and service sequencing with DevOps.
- Exercise sound technical judgment regarding architectural fixes and false positives.
- Implement automation for continuous dependency updates.
