Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong C# / .NET skills with experience in ASP.NET Core web applications.
- Strong TypeScript skills and experience with a modern frontend framework, specifically Angular or transferable experience in React or Vue.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries, parameterization, and ORM or data access layers.
- Experience practicing unit testing, ideally with integration or end-to-end testing.
- Strong Git skills, including branching, rebasing, and clean commit practices.
- Ability to read and understand unfamiliar codebases.
- Clear written and spoken English for daily collaboration.
- Genuine interest in application security.
Responsibilities
- Remediate security vulnerabilities across the stack including dependency upgrades, code-level fixes, credential rotation, and container/Kubernetes hardening.
- Write unit tests for every fix to prove the vulnerability is addressed and verify continued feature functionality.
- Manage major version upgrades end to end, diagnosing build issues and driving resolution.
- Document analyses and solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate across teams to gather context, coordinate with other repository owners, and work through code reviews.
- Coordinate safe, sequenced credential rotations across services and applications.
- Provide sound technical judgment when evaluating fixes or identifying false positives.
- Set up automation for continuous handling of routine dependency updates.
