Requirements
- Production experience developing and shipping Golang code.
- Debugging expertise for distributed, multi-service cloud architectures in live environments.
- Troubleshooting TLS/mTLS at the protocol level, including certificate chain validation and trust stores.
- Experience with certificate-based authentication, VPNs, enterprise Wi-Fi/EAP-TLS, RADIUS, SSH, and OAuth.
- Demonstrated ability to own technical escalations directly with customers.
- Experience using Bash and Terraform for infrastructure and automation.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with PKI and certificate enrollment protocols such as SCEP or ACME is a plus.
- Experience with hardware-backed security like Yubikeys, TPMs, or HSMs.
- Familiarity with OS-level identity management on macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role like solutions engineering.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical failures blocking customer deployments.
- Act as the technical escalation point for Technical Account Managers and Customer Success Engineers.
- Ship production Golang code to resolve root causes uncovered during deployment debugging.
- Build proof-of-concept environments and runbooks for new product surfaces using Bash and Terraform.
- Set day-to-day priorities and assignments for deployment ops engineers.
- Carry a formal on-call rotation with defined SLAs.
- Maintain high levels of customer experience during challenging implementations.
