Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger accounting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to identify process improvements and implement efficient workflows.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment while handling confidential financial information.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience supporting payroll processing preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
- Familiarity with Ramp and legal billing systems such as TimeSolv preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and approved payments through Ramp.
- Review invoice coding, approvals, and credit card transactions for policy compliance.
- Assign client-related costs to the appropriate billing matter in TimeSolv.
- Prepare weekly accounts payable aging reports and monitor outstanding liabilities.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and journal entries.
- Develop and maintain written accounts payable procedures.
- Provide backup for biweekly payroll processing and payroll reporting.
- Identify process improvement opportunities for accounts payable workflows.
