Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent experience in market access, channel management, or healthcare partnerships.
  • 6+ years of experience managing oncology strategic accounts.
  • 2+ years of experience managing oncology national accounts.
  • Proven relationships with national distributors, oncology GPOs, and healthcare organizations.
  • Strong understanding of formulary access, reimbursement processes, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior external decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, healthcare compliance standards, and appropriate engagement practices.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate commercial and public healthcare policies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with oncology GPO executives, pharmacy leaders, clinical stakeholders, and organized customer groups.
  • Lead national account strategy and execution for current and future oncology products.
  • Negotiate and manage service agreements, contracts, and partnership frameworks with oncology GPOs, providers, and support organizations.
  • Manage oncology channel operations, monitor industry trends, and adjust strategies based on market dynamics.
  • Build relationships with oncology pathways, advocacy organizations, state societies, and healthcare networks.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on oncology access, GPO structures, reimbursement dynamics, and contracting strategies.
  • Partner with field sales and strategic account teams to convert national agreements into measurable regional execution.
  • Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Pricing, Trade, and Legal teams.
