Requirements
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacology, medicine, or a related scientific discipline.
- Previous experience within a medical communications agency or a comparable healthcare communications environment.
- Strong understanding of clinical research, scientific literature, and pharmaceutical industry developments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear and engaging content.
- Experience collaborating with healthcare professionals, clients, and scientific experts.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in scientific content development.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review scientifically accurate medical communications materials, ensuring alignment with current clinical evidence and industry standards.
- Analyze and interpret complex medical documents, clinical trial data, and scientific literature to create meaningful insights for healthcare professionals and audiences.
- Conduct literature reviews and stay informed on advances, trends, and developments within relevant therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with healthcare experts and key opinion leaders to gather insights and provide scientific resources for projects.
- Support the development of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide presentations, white papers, monographs, and other medical content.
- Participate in advisory boards, investigator meetings, and client discussions to support strategic communication objectives.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality project execution and effective communication.
- Edit and quality-check medical materials created by writers and freelancers, maintaining scientific accuracy and consistency.
- Help manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
