Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience managing complex projects in EdTech, software, or creative publishing.
- Fluency in Agile/Scrum for software development.
- Discipline in Waterfall/Stage-Gate for print and physical production.
- Expert-level proficiency in Smartsheet.
- Experience in similar project management tools like Monday.com.
- Ability to build dashboards and trackers for team reliance.
- Strong communication skills with experience bridging technical software and creative content stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale initiatives including dependencies between writing, design, digital tooling, physical production, and service readiness.
- Map out and manage high-stakes timelines to protect launch dates.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigations to restore project health.
- Facilitate planning and execution meetings with clear objectives and documented ownership.
- Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure physical and digital assets are tracked, QA’d, and ready for launch.
- Analyze team velocity and capacity to identify and improve process friction points.
- Look 2-3 quarters ahead to anticipate long-term staffing needs and production peaks.
- Negotiate statements of work with vendors and evaluate their performance.
