Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical estimating.
- 3–10+ years of hands-on electrical estimating experience for U.S. construction projects.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Strong understanding of electrical estimating workflows and industry best practices.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in takeoffs and pricing.
- Experience using digital takeoff software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff (OST).
- Proven ability to support growing construction companies by managing estimating functions efficiently.
- Strong communication skills with experience coordinating across vendors, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Background estimating light commercial and small industrial electrical projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical takeoffs from digital drawings, blueprints, and project documents.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive bid proposals.
- Complete and manage RFQs, including revisions and updates.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and project information.
- Support pre-construction planning and estimating activities.
- Work directly within the company's workflows and estimating processes as a remote team member.
