Requirements
- Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.).
- 3+ years of experience in architecture, engineering, and/or construction/cost estimating.
- 2+ years of experience performing property inspections.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering principles.
- Understanding of building component life cycles and system condition evaluation.
- Ability to climb a ladder and perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and walking.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of building systems and provide recommendations for immediate repairs and future replacements.
- Perform site reconnaissance, data compilation, and historical or regulatory project research.
- Author technical reports and prepare supporting documents such as maps and appendices.
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones to ensure work stays on schedule.
- Communicate project progress and issues to the Project Manager and client.
- Coordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scope.
