Requirements
- Deep experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure (GCP preferred; Azure or AWS considered).
- Very good understanding of Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
- Expertise in infrastructure scalability and reliability management.
- Proven ability to calmly address incidents of various impacts.
- Strong background in optimizing complex, distributed systems.
- High willingness to mentor and share knowledge.
- Fluent in English (strong French is advantageous).
- Must reside in Bulgaria.
Responsibilities
- Develop a coherent technology strategy aligned with organization and product goals.
- Ensure architectural decisions align with product initiatives.
- Manage service reliability through incident management, SLOs, and observability.
- Oversee and optimize cloud infrastructure for resource efficiency.
- Participate in CI/CD refinement and code reviews to improve quality and productivity.
- Evaluate transitions from worker-based to event-driven architectures.
- Pair with squad developers to share knowledge and technical best practices.
- Respond to and troubleshoot business-critical issues.
