Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
- Two (2) or more years of related experience in quality assurance and testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven technical writing abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Logical thinking capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with onshore and offshore teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and productively.
- Adaptive to change and new technologies.
- Proactive with an inquisitive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance testing of highly complex software applications.
- Ensure information systems products and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements.
- Write test plans and detailed test scripts derived from functional requirements and programming specifications.
- Test software thoroughly to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation.
- Document and resolve all identified problems.
- Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models for future configurations.
- Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements.
- Establish software quality standards for the life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance.
