Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent knowledge).
- 3 years of experience in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, and requirement definition.
- Must be certified in Epic Clindoc and/or Grand Central.
- Must be willing to obtain Epic Case Management certification within 6 months.
- Experience with system configuration, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Experience with Epic and other healthcare applications.
- Project management experience including use of project management software.
- Understanding of technical components, connectivity, and interface design.
- Knowledge of change management practices and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for assigned Epic application(s).
- Prepare documentation for business requirements using case diagrams, data flow diagrams, data models, and object models.
- Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
- Perform system configuration that meets business requirements.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate performance, and conduct testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop training materials and provide support for end-users.
- Monitor system functionality and implement changes as needed.
- Maintain product documentation including workflows, specifications, and user manuals.
- Manage multiple requests, communicate project status, and coordinate application version upgrades.
