Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, OR at least 7 years of industry experience building and shipping software.
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams, growing talent, and navigating complex technical problems.
- Demonstrated experience shipping both web and mobile products at scale.
- Prior hands-on experience as a software engineer (Java and/or React preferred).
- Strong ability to decompose complex business problems into actionable technical plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and guide a team of high-performing engineers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful environment.
- Provide continuous feedback, address performance, and recognize contributions.
- Lead strategic initiatives, balancing high-impact projects with technical debt management and resource allocation.
- Partner with Product and Design teams to define roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused products.
- Foster continuous improvement in code quality, architecture, and team processes.
- Resolve conflicts, facilitate decision-making within the team, and manage cross-functional relationships.
