Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive operational accounting, GL management, and month-end close experience.
- Expertise in US GAAP and accrual accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and its integration ecosystem.
- High proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including Pivot Tables and financial modeling.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-site clinical operations preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in FP&A and annual budgeting processes.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote/distributed team environment.
- Experience supervising or mentoring accounting professionals.
- Comfort navigating modern business tools like Monday.com and EHR platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage cash flow, banking activity, and payroll funding.
- Oversee month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes per US GAAP.
- Supervise AP, corporate credit card programs, and provider compensation accuracy.
- Partner with leadership for annual budgeting and monthly Budget vs. Actuals reporting.
- Develop financial dashboards and modeling to support operational planning.
- Reconcile revenue cycle activity, including insurance reimbursements and clearinghouse deposits.
- Optimize financial workflows and technology stack to automate manual processes.
- Manage and mentor an Accounting Coordinator.
