Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4-8 years of hands-on development experience using modern programming languages including NodeJS and Python.
- Experience designing and implementing both REST and event-based services using AWS tool suite.
- Proficiency with AWS services: Lambda, Event Bridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, IAM, SQS, SNS, EC2, and STS.
- Experience implementing and supporting SaaS/Cloud software solutions including integrating with internal systems.
- Experience working with both non-relational and multiple relational database platforms (RDS).
- Experience developing and deploying APIs.
- Experience building infrastructure with Cloud Formation Templates (CFTs).
- Proven history of working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in technical design sessions to identify and document technical solutions.
- Develop microservices with AWS serverless architecture.
- Function as a trusted advisor with a consultative mindset in interactions with stakeholders.
- Help build and maintain a best-in-class team culture through partnership, open dialogue, and transparent feedback.
- Drive continual improvement to the efficiency and flexibility of systems while maintaining high standards for customer trust, performance, and availability.
- Provide technical direction to junior engineers on the team.
- Support legacy code as needed while building out future state systems and solutions.
