Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).
- Graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience.
- Alternatively, 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
- Ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely.
- Commitment of a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.
- Reliable availability for project tasks.
Responsibilities
- Translate content between German and your native language while preserving cultural nuance and clarity.
- Edit and refine language content for accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms.
- Apply current language standards, usage trends, and best practices to all deliverables.
- Evaluate and provide structured feedback to improve language model quality.
- Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize content for your language-speaking markets.
- Support content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.
- Adapt content creatively through transcreation to ensure natural reading in the target language.
