Requirements
- Deep expertise in Java/Kotlin and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Strong system design fundamentals.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Apache Kafka).
- Ability to research and reverse-engineer APIs and model structured data schemas.
- Technical leadership experience shaping engineering best practices.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments (Helm, ingress controllers).
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP).
- Experience developing integration or contract tests (e.g., pytest).
- Experience working within CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers and engineering teams to define requirements for third-party vendor integrations.
- Explore cybersecurity vendor products to determine methods for data ingestion and correlation.
- Incorporate third-party data into the platform for cross-vendor threat correlation and insights.
- Develop and extend the Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot) integration platform UI.
- Maintain event-driven microservices utilizing Apache Kafka at scale.
- Manage core infrastructure including ingress gateways, API routing, and PostgreSQL databases.
- Participate in on-call incident response for a multi-region production platform.
- Contribute to GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines for deployment and testing.
