Requirements
- Own or have access to a smartphone or camera device with at least 30 FPS and 1080p resolution.
- Smartphone must feature a wide-angle/0.5x lens (recommended: iPhone 12 or newer, Google Pixel 6+, or Samsung Galaxy S21+).
- Ability to mount the device at forehead or eye-level for an egocentric perspective.
- Ability to maintain a downward angle during recording to maximize hand visibility.
- Ability to use the designated D&A application for all data capture and upload.
- Commitment to producing clear, stable, and well-lit video footage.
- Ability to capture useful, intentional tasks without unnecessary pauses or contrived movements.
- Ensure each recording session is at least 15 seconds long.
Responsibilities
- Record everyday household activities from a first-person perspective including cooking, cleaning, tidying up, folding laundry, gardening, and walking the dog.
- Record sessions in your own home, yard, garage, or workspace.
- Follow short recording guidelines provided per session.
- Upload video footage using the designated D&A application.
