Requirements
- 8+ years in IT Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
- 3+ years in a senior role owning internal business systems and automation at a SaaS/tech company.
- Strong scripting and programming proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or Node.js.
- Deep working knowledge of macOS and Linux environments.
- Solid experience operating GCP and AWS cloud infrastructure (VPCs, IAM, EC2/S3).
- Expertise in API integration including REST, GraphQL, OAuth, and webhooks.
- Experience implementing identity lifecycle management and security, including SSO, SAML, SCIM, and Zero Trust.
- Proven experience supporting or passing security and compliance audits such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or GDPR.
- Experience in remote-first or globally distributed team environments.
- Knowledge of MDM solutions like JumpCloud.
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer internal automation systems using Python, Go, or Bash.
- Build and maintain API-driven integrations between business SaaS platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zendesk.
- Develop internal CLI tools and services to improve operational efficiency.
- Introduce AI-powered automation for internal workflows, such as ticket triage and knowledge retrieval.
- Design and implement IT 'Golden Path' workflows for employee onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning.
- Serve as the final escalation point for IT support for a global, remote workforce.
- Manage endpoint security and compliance based on ISO 27001, SOC2, and GDPR standards.
