Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or equity research.
- Strong understanding of finance fundamentals, including accounting principles, financial statements, and capital allocation.
- Advanced financial modeling skills with experience developing and maintaining complex financial models.
- Proven ability to analyze large, unstructured datasets and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or energy businesses is preferred.
- Experience partnering with engineering or product development organizations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the company’s integrated three-statement financial model.
- Partner with the finance team to lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Develop management and board-level reporting on company performance, spending, and balance sheet health.
- Serve as the primary finance partner for R&D, manufacturing engineering, and production teams.
- Develop business case analyses to support strategic decision-making, such as capital investments and make-versus-buy assessments.
- Build and maintain production cost models including bill of materials, labor, and volume-driven changes.
- Identify and explain key variances from the financial plan and partner with business leaders on corrective actions.
