Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government contracting, contract administration, compliance, auditing, grant management, or advisory services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS, Uniform Guidance, and other federal contracting regulations.
- Experience supporting government contractor clients through DCAA, DCMA, or other agency audits.
- Familiarity with contractor business systems, including evaluating adequacy and supporting corrective actions.
- Experience with incurred cost submissions, provisional billing rates, forward pricing rates, and indirect cost structures.
- Knowledge of FAR Part 31 cost principles, cost allowability, allocability, and CAS Disclosure Statements.
- Strong project management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements as needed (expected to remain below 15%).
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Experience with pricing analysis, equitable adjustments, claims, terminations, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), or IPP is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to government contractor clients on contract, grant management, compliance, and operational challenges.
- Lead compliance assessments and gap analyses related to FAR, DFARS, CAS, Uniform Guidance, and other federal requirements.
- Support client interactions with government auditors, including DCAA, DCMA, and other regulatory agencies.
- Review contract terms, solicitation requirements, and award obligations to identify risks and compliance needs.
- Provide guidance on proposals, pricing strategies, cost analysis, and contract financial requirements.
- Assist with incurred cost submissions, billing rates, indirect rate structures, and cost allowability assessments.
- Help clients design and improve policies, procedures, internal controls, and training programs.
- Evaluate contractor business systems to identify deficiencies and support remediation efforts.
- Coach and mentor team members, providing feedback and project guidance.
- Build relationships with executive stakeholders and contribute to business development initiatives.
