Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analytics, revenue operations, or billing operations.
- Experience within a SaaS or fintech environment.
- Advanced SQL and data querying skills (Snowflake preferred).
- Proficiency with BI tools (Looker or Omni preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end billing or reconciliation workflows.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical teams.
- Experience identifying and quantifying revenue leakage or billing discrepancies.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP configuration is a plus.
- Experience with payment platforms like Stripe or PayPal is a plus.
- Background working alongside Data Engineering in a transitioning ownership model is a plus.
- Healthcare or healthcare payments industry experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Transition billing operational tasks from Data Engineering to Finance.
- Own monthly reconciliations and lead billing investigations.
- Define and maintain payment attribution codes and determine bill eligibility.
- Monitor billing KPIs and proactively identify revenue discrepancies or fee errors.
- Build and maintain BI dashboards for Finance stakeholders using SQL and Snowflake.
- Train team members on Looker and reporting tools to reduce dependency on Data Engineering.
- Audit billing filters to quantify unbilled revenue and reduce leakage.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for billing system upgrades.
