Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in system design, build, and integration.
  • Cybersecurity experience.
  • Extensive experience in Linux packaging, package managers, and compiling code from source.
  • Strong experience with configuration management tools and concepts.
  • Experience with artifact management (e.g., Artifactory) and language-specific package formats.
  • Deep Linux configuration experience with focus on kernel parameter tuning and systemd.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining on-prem AI/ML systems in constrained environments.
  • Experience with industry standard CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions preferred).
  • Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with NGINX ingress configuration and management.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Makefile.
  • Experience working with modern programming languages (Rust preferred).
  • Proficient understanding of networking concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement lightweight and efficient workflows to build artifacts, manage dependencies, and deliver highly effective and reliable products.
  • Collaborate with other development teams to ensure cohesive and intelligent solutions across the Systems Engineering community.
  • Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems development life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Validation, Delivery, and Support.
  • Support production deployments and incident response when necessary.
  • Formulate plans and guide the development and implementation of engineering solutions.
  • Ensure the maintainability and post-deployment stability of the team’s product.
