Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in system design, build, and integration.
- Cybersecurity experience.
- Extensive experience in Linux packaging, package managers, and compiling code from source.
- Strong experience with configuration management tools and concepts.
- Experience with artifact management (e.g., Artifactory) and language-specific package formats.
- Deep Linux configuration experience with focus on kernel parameter tuning and systemd.
- Experience deploying and maintaining on-prem AI/ML systems in constrained environments.
- Experience with industry standard CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Experience with NGINX ingress configuration and management.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Makefile.
- Experience working with modern programming languages (Rust preferred).
- Proficient understanding of networking concepts.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement lightweight and efficient workflows to build artifacts, manage dependencies, and deliver highly effective and reliable products.
- Collaborate with other development teams to ensure cohesive and intelligent solutions across the Systems Engineering community.
- Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems development life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Validation, Delivery, and Support.
- Support production deployments and incident response when necessary.
- Formulate plans and guide the development and implementation of engineering solutions.
- Ensure the maintainability and post-deployment stability of the team’s product.
