Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Patient Services in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience working with Specialty Pharmacies.
- Experience in Rare diseases.
- Expert knowledge of Case Management, reimbursement landscape, patient support program strategy, operational processes, technology, and data.
- Demonstrated team leadership experience with ability to persuade, influence, and manage conflict.
- Understanding of the payer landscape and all product types.
- Experience in audit circumstances and knowledge of investigative processes regarding regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain talent.
- Experience with data analysis and evaluation.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day patient access and support services, focusing on internal team members and case management.
- Account for internal team performance against key metrics and quality standards.
- Ensure team compliance with business rules, SOPs, and rules of engagement.
- Collaborate with operational excellence and quality leads to deliver a consistent patient experience.
- Coach and provide regular feedback to team members based on case reviews and quality monitoring.
- Contribute to materials development, including communication templates and marketing materials.
- Partner with the training team to develop necessary training for internal and external teams.
- Work with internal and external partners (Hub, PAP, co-pay, SPs) to ensure seamless patient experience in escalated cases.
