Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 8 years of Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Healthcare Industry sales experience
- Proven track record of managing a territory and consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong business acumen and comprehension of difficult clinical information
- Ability to articulate complex clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real time
- Excellent organization, time management, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to travel as needed, including air travel
- Must be able to maintain required credentialing for healthcare institutions and third-party vendors
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for a wide geographical area to effectively target, penetrate, and establish a network of relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders
- Effectively call on physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, etc., across multiple medical subspecialties
- Call on points including Physician’s office, Hospital Pharmacy, OR, ICU, etc.
- Communicate clear messages in complex clinical situations
- Conduct periodic field travel with internal personnel including management and marketing
- Utilize data sources to maximize strategies and efficiencies to capitalize on opportunities
- Attain or exceed assigned sales and profit goals
- Manage and track territory specific information through a CRM system
