Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with C# or VB.NET development.
- Solid experience building modern web applications.
- Strong SQL knowledge, including relational databases, stored procedures, and query optimisation.
- Experience troubleshooting application performance issues and improving system efficiency.
- Experience developing unit and integration tests.
- Familiarity with shift-left development practices and quality-focused engineering workflows.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and application design principles.
- Experience collaborating within Agile engineering teams.
- Willingness to adopt AI-powered development tools and modern engineering workflows.
- Basic understanding of LLMs, MCP, RAG, and emerging AI development concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS applications using the .NET ecosystem and Angular or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Build backend services using C# or VB.NET while creating reliable and efficient web application features.
- Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to improve application performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term technical improvements.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and solution design activities.
- Write secure, maintainable, and high-quality code following engineering best practices.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests to support a shift-left development approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code to improve productivity and code quality.
- Contribute to continuous improvements across engineering processes, application performance, and system maintainability.
