Requirements
- Track record of owning a product area or substantial problem space end to end.
- Strong product judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes situations.
- Ability to articulate reasoning and influence stakeholders without relying on authority.
- Technical fluency sufficient to partner with engineers on architectural trade-offs.
- Experience using data, research, and merchant input for evidence-led decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage conflicting interests and senior stakeholder alignment.
- Nice-to-have: Experience in payments, fintech, or infrastructure domains.
- Nice-to-have: Experience building systems and rituals for product teams.
Responsibilities
- Define strategy, outcomes, and multi-quarter plans for the growth product area.
- Resolve ambiguity using evidence, data, research, and merchant feedback.
- Partner with engineering on implementation, architecture, and long-term technical direction.
- Drive GTM strategy including positioning and pricing in collaboration with RevOps and Product Marketing.
- Make trade-offs across scope, quality, and timing to protect long-term technical health.
- Act as a credible product voice with senior stakeholders and key merchants.
- Create decision documentation and playbooks to raise overall product thinking.
