Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building software at a product company, with ownership of real production systems.
- Strong Java skills, including REST APIs, database interactions, and asynchronous processing.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and a modern frontend framework, preferably Angular.
- Strong understanding of frontend fundamentals: complex UIs, component architecture, state management, performance, and responsive design.
- Solid SQL expertise in a backend context, including schema design, query optimization, and production migrations.
- Commitment to testing as a habit, including experience with end-to-end testing frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.
- Architectural judgment in designing APIs and understanding data flow and latency.
- DevOps fluency including containers, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and Linux proficiency.
- Ability to ship production code using AI coding agents like Claude Code or Cursor.
- Ability to work independently in a distributed, async team.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Build features end-to-end: backend APIs, database changes, frontend UI, and ship them to production.
- Design and implement backend services for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Work with relational databases like MySQL on schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Build clean and fast frontend features.
- Optimize performance across the stack and write tests at every layer including unit, integration, and e2e.
- Build agentic features into the product, such as LLM-powered workflows to help users manage data issues.
- Improve systems for agentic development, including agent instructions and test feedback loops.
- Collaborate directly with product, design, and customers to define roadmap and feature decisions.
