Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for building scalable backend systems and production-ready services.
- Hands-on C#/.NET 10 development experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, code quality practices, and engineering best practices.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and operate effectively as a senior individual contributor.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to guide junior engineers.
- Frontend development experience with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
- Interest or experience in AI-related products, machine learning, or data engineering is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services hosted on AWS with a strong focus on Python-based applications and AI-driven products.
- Contribute to full stack development initiatives, including backend APIs and selected frontend components using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Balance speed and quality, ensuring maintainable, reliable, and production-ready code without overengineering.
- Mentor and support junior AI engineers by providing technical guidance, architectural feedback, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with product stakeholders, AI engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver new AI-related products and platform capabilities.
- Contribute to future platform initiatives, including potential work within the .NET-based Storefront API ecosystem.
