Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience designing, developing, shipping, and maintaining backend applications using Python.
Significant experience with frontend web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (ideally React.js).
Strong DevOps experience at a production level with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience using agentic coding tools and AI development tooling.
Proficiency in designing, building, and maintaining automated tests and CI pipelines.
Experience debugging and fixing live incidents in time-pressured situations.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
Experience working in an agile environment with sprints, stand-ups, and retros.
Understanding of industry trends in security, application performance, and scalability.
Strong communication skills with experience in a technical leadership capacity.

Own end-to-end solution design for new features within a defined architecture framework.
Make pragmatic decisions about trade-offs regarding scope, performance, scalability, and security.
Take ownership of complex or high-impact development tasks, integrations, and performance considerations.
Design, build, and optimize service journeys using Python, React, Flutter, Postgres, and AWS.
Write high-quality, testable code and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Design and optimize reliable CI/CD pipelines, resilience, observability, and security within AWS.
Manage AWS resources and containerized application deployments via Docker.
Identify and drive improvements to developer experience, tooling, and internal processes.
