Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a technical role like forward deployed engineering, technical product management, or similar at a fast-paced startup.
- Strong passion and curiosity for AI systems, including modern LLMs.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts regarding API design and system architecture for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with SQL and ability to dive into data to validate hypotheses.
- Track record of taking complex, strategic ideas and turning them into scalable, production-grade products.
- Systems thinking mindset with an experimental approach to technology.
- Pragmatic approach to navigating technical tradeoffs and implementing platform standards.
Responsibilities
- Define the strategy for migrating prompts from multiple locations onto a unified platform and drive execution.
- Own the technical prioritization queue for the chatbot system while coordinating engineering, data, and operations teams.
- Monitor emerging technologies like voicebot and computer use to determine timing for serious investment.
- Manage the partnership with OpenAI and oversee the company presence in the ChatGPT store.
- Influence company-wide AI investment decisions by bringing a clear technical point of view.
- Learn and optimize existing prompt engineering workflows while identifying system bottlenecks.
