Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related field with 8+ years of experience; OR Master's/Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience.
- Expert-level knowledge of deep learning and machine learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in the core Python data science ecosystem.
- Deep experience with natural language, medical data, or long-tail prediction problem spaces.
- Strong familiarity with the MLOps model lifecycle, including pipeline management and standards creation.
- Accountability for long-term model impact, including drift monitoring and KPI tracking.
- Experience spearheading new, loosely defined projects and taking initiative.
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly with non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead organizational modeling strategy and high-impact analytical initiatives.
- Build hybrid models combining deep learning, large language models (LLMs), and traditional data science techniques.
- Prototype, deploy, and realize the value of models in production rapidly.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and model value to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- Establish MLOps standards and practices to enforce quality, speed, and long-term model health.
- Monitor models for drift and drive incremental improvements to address technical debt and performance metrics.
