Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
5+ years of engineering or relevant field experience.
PE license (preferred but can be offset with industry experience).
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically power engineering (preferred).
Proficiency with power system software such as PSSE, PSCAD, PLSCADD, ETAP, or SKM (preferred).
Familiarity with contract structures, rates, and T&Cs.
Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work with limited information to create system designs and plans.
Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
Ability to work additional hours beyond 40 per week as required for project delivery.

Responsibilities

Grow and scale a team of engineers, drafters, and technicians in the Permian and Delaware Basins.
Formulate an annual business plan in collaboration with the market Director and other team leads.
Manage project backlog, utilization, and margins while utilizing resource planning tools.
Assign and coordinate work for entry-level engineers and technical staff.
Support business development as a seller-doer and prepare technical proposals.
Manage engineering budgets and project scope expectations.
Review submittals for conformance with client specifications and project designs.
Provide field assistance, troubleshooting, and observation reports.
Mentor and coach team members through individual development plans.
