Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of engineering or relevant field experience.
  • PE license (preferred but can be offset with industry experience).
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically power engineering (preferred).
  • Proficiency with power system software such as PSSE, PSCAD, PLSCADD, ETAP, or SKM (preferred).
  • Familiarity with contract structures, rates, and T&Cs.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work with limited information to create system designs and plans.
  • Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work additional hours beyond 40 per week as required for project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and scale a team of engineers, drafters, and technicians in the Permian and Delaware Basins.
  • Formulate an annual business plan in collaboration with the market Director and other team leads.
  • Manage project backlog, utilization, and margins while utilizing resource planning tools.
  • Assign and coordinate work for entry-level engineers and technical staff.
  • Support business development as a seller-doer and prepare technical proposals.
  • Manage engineering budgets and project scope expectations.
  • Review submittals for conformance with client specifications and project designs.
  • Provide field assistance, troubleshooting, and observation reports.
  • Mentor and coach team members through individual development plans.
