Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of engineering or relevant field experience.
- PE license (preferred but can be offset with industry experience).
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically power engineering (preferred).
- Proficiency with power system software such as PSSE, PSCAD, PLSCADD, ETAP, or SKM (preferred).
- Familiarity with contract structures, rates, and T&Cs.
- Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work with limited information to create system designs and plans.
- Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to work additional hours beyond 40 per week as required for project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Grow and scale a team of engineers, drafters, and technicians in the Permian and Delaware Basins.
- Formulate an annual business plan in collaboration with the market Director and other team leads.
- Manage project backlog, utilization, and margins while utilizing resource planning tools.
- Assign and coordinate work for entry-level engineers and technical staff.
- Support business development as a seller-doer and prepare technical proposals.
- Manage engineering budgets and project scope expectations.
- Review submittals for conformance with client specifications and project designs.
- Provide field assistance, troubleshooting, and observation reports.
- Mentor and coach team members through individual development plans.
