Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Math, or similar field.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive FP&A experience.
- Experience in a scaled operating or public company.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, including amortization, capitalization, and cash versus accrual accounting.
- Proven experience owning a forecast, process, or cost center independently.
- Experience building or maintaining dashboards and model templates.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Experience acting as a finance partner to a functional business leader.
- Experience with BI/analytics platforms (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Tableau) preferred.
- Experience with AI-powered financial workflows preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own opex forecasting and management for your function end-to-end.
- Build and maintain the monthly forecast for your area, including headcount, vendor contracts, T&E, and discretionary spend.
- Serve as the trusted finance partner to a functional leader, supporting headcount and vendor spend decisions.
- Build and improve model templates and reporting flows, helping shape BI tooling.
- Own a portion of the annual operating plan and long-range plan.
- Apply GAAP fluency to model capitalized expenses and explain technical concepts to business partners.
- Contribute to board decks and executive reviews, presenting analysis to senior leadership.
- Experiment with AI tools to improve modeling and automation.
