Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or financial management roles.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounting principles, and GAAP compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems, project management systems, and financial reporting tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and strong ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial variances and translate insights into business actions.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business functions and diverse teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to assess business challenges, develop solutions, and influence stakeholders.
- Broad business understanding, including profitability analysis, operations, sales, forecasting, and product development.
- Ability to work effectively with global teams and demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately one week every other month.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial leadership and operational support to manufacturing teams, delivering accurate reporting, analysis, and recommendations to improve business performance.
- Analyze current and future financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop, communicate, and execute annual budgets, business plans, and quarterly forecasts in partnership with finance leadership and operational stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, profitability, efficiency, and business performance.
- Establish, maintain, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational accuracy.
- Manage key financial processes, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, month-end closing activities, and audit support.
- Partner with project management teams to monitor project costs, margins, invoicing, risks, and financial performance.
- Ensure accurate project accounting, cost tracking, balance sheet management, and revenue recognition processes in accordance with ASC 606 standards.
- Analyze technical accounting matters and advise leadership on financial implications, regulatory requirements, and emerging developments.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate actual results against forecasts and budgets, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
