Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree (or equivalent) from an ABA accredited law school.
- Licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one State.
- 15+ years of professional experience.
- 10+ years of in-house counsel experience.
- Current member of the bar or able to be admitted to the in-house counsel bar.
- Extensive experience negotiating and drafting service, license, subcontract, marketing, real estate lease, non-disclosure, confidentiality, and consulting agreements.
- Experience supporting operations outside of the United States.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects under deadline pressure.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate agreements with customers.
- Develop customer-centric solutions to ensure both legal compliance is achieved and internal and external customer needs are satisfied.
- Support business operations and provide direction and counsel regarding compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay abreast of laws, legislative developments, and external trends.
- Anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and recommend process, product, or service improvements.
- Solve unique and complex problems with broad business impact.
