Requirements
- 7-10 years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online.
- Experience managing and supervising 1-3 associate-level team members.
- Experience successfully project managing for a remote team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several simultaneous clients with fluctuating demands.
- Strong client/customer engagement skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage big-picture objectives.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to evolving team needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage client financial operations as a subject matter expert and lead a team of associates.
- Oversee full-cycle client bookkeeping including bill payments, journal entries, reconciliations, and payroll.
- Collaborate with client managers on budgeting and cash-flow forecasting.
- Compile monthly and ad hoc financial reports, analysis, and insights for clients.
- Execute audit and tax preparation and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain high-quality client relationships through proactive and transparent communication.
- Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to 1-3 associate-level team members.
