Requirements
- 6+ years of digital product management experience.
- At least 3 years of experience owning search, relevance, or discovery in a marketplace context.
- Proven experience managing search or discovery at a transactional, two-sided marketplace.
- Understanding of how search and discovery engines function and application of that knowledge to build ranking and personalization strategies.
- Fluency in managing behavioral data as a core product input for personalization and agentic systems.
- Track record of running rigorous A/B experiments on search flows, including hypothesis design and metrics definition.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align Engineering, Design, Data Science, and business stakeholders.
- Analytical and structured thinker capable of thriving in ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the search and shopping experience across web, iOS, and Android, from initial query through listing detail, saving, and comparing.
- Rethink how to personalize the process of finding a home by utilizing behavioral data to build intent-aware personalization and agentic systems.
- Partner with engineering and data science to lead search strategy, prioritizing AI-native opportunities that transform how users navigate the real estate market.
- Own the property evaluation pages and experience, helping users navigate NYC-specific market nuances.
- Navigate the structural tension between organic relevance and advertising products to ensure both business and user needs are met.
- Set the measurement framework for search quality in a non-deterministic, AI-powered experience.
