Requirements

  • 7+ years working in or directly with data engineering, data platform, analytics, or data-product teams.
  • 5+ years owning data or analytics products, with direct data-product-management experience.
  • Proven track record of owning end-to-end data products from discovery to launch.
  • Experience defining data domains, including canonical/domain modeling and KPI architecture.
  • Deep familiarity with modern cloud data-warehouse and lakehouse architectures.
  • Expertise in ELT/transformation patterns and semantic/metrics layers.
  • Strong SQL proficiency for data exploration, validation, and debugging.
  • Experience partnering with data-science and machine-learning teams on shared foundations.
  • Knowledge of data governance, access control, and quality/observability practices.
  • Strong project management skills for multi-quarter, multi-team initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills for non-technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Define and refine the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the fulfillment data domain.
  • Manage the canonical fulfillment lifecycle model, including events, entities, and relationships.
  • Develop a robust metrics architecture to provide operational and performance visibility.
  • Build and deliver production-ready, governed data products for analytics and downstream models.
  • Ensure the data foundation effectively supports machine-learning workloads like routing and risk scoring.
  • Decompose projects into estimable units and manage multi-team delivery plans.
  • Monitor data quality, freshness, and observability to ensure product reliability.
  • Drive adoption through documentation, training, and collaboration with business owners.
