Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in real-time graphics or engine programming.
- Proven track record of taking at least one product to shipping.
- Deep production experience with Vulkan render paths, memory allocation, and synchronization.
- Expertise in Linux graphics stacks, including GPU drivers, shader toolchains, and containers.
- Advanced proficiency in modern C++ within large codebases.
- Demonstrated ability to profile frames and identify bottlenecks using tools like RenderDoc or Nsight.
- Strong ability to scope and drive complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical trade-offs.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Linux and Vulkan migration of the rendering pipeline.
- Diagnose and resolve performance and output discrepancies between DirectX and Vulkan backends.
- Develop comparison harnesses and regression tests to ensure platform parity.
- Establish GPU and CPU profiling workflows to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- Contribute to rendering roadmap items including multi-view rendering, scene reconstruction, and lighting.
- Partner with infrastructure and build engineers to integrate the renderer into containerized cloud workflows.
- Actively utilize AI-assisted coding and debugging tools.
