Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in real-time graphics, engine programming, or related fields.
- Strong production experience with Vulkan (render paths, memory management, descriptor handling, synchronization).
- Proven experience developing and shipping graphics software on Linux.
- Knowledge of GPU drivers, shader toolchains, containers, and Linux debugging workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in modern C++.
- Experience navigating large-scale codebases with complex build systems and CI pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize GPU and CPU performance using RenderDoc, Nsight, or equivalent tools.
- Experience independently driving technically challenging projects from design to delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science or engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of a real-time renderer from Windows to Linux using Vulkan.
- Diagnose and resolve differences between graphics backends, including memory usage, shader compilation, and synchronization.
- Develop comparison frameworks, regression tests, and validation tools for rendering consistency.
- Establish GPU and CPU profiling workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations.
- Contribute to advanced rendering initiatives like wide-angle rendering, multi-view systems, and scene reconstruction.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and simulation teams on containerized applications and cloud GPU environments.
- Apply AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and debugging workflows.
