Requirements
- Expertise with GitHub CI/CD, container registries, and upstream/downstream systems.
- Experience managing Kubernetes across multiple environments and regions using Helm and Flux (or Argo).
- Experience with Azure (Azure Cloud, DevOps, Artifacts, Container Registry) or a comparable Cloud Provider.
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with AI agents.
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
- Experience scripting in Python or Bash.
- Practical knowledge of Docker.
- Experience with DataDog for observability.
- Experience managing databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Capability to maintain at least 3 hours of daily overlap with GMT and US Eastern time.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD across GitHub Actions, container registries, and deployment pipelines.
- Run and improve Kubernetes across multiple environments and regions using Helm and Flux.
- Develop reusable Terraform and Ansible modules for consistent, version-controlled infrastructure.
- Expand self-service platform capabilities to allow teams to provision, deploy, and monitor their own services.
- Strengthen observability and reliability with DataDog and define SLOs, alerting, and on-call practices.
- Support the ongoing migration to Azure through architectural decisions and rollout.
- Manage relationships with cloud providers and oversee capacity and cost management.
- Participate in strategic and architectural discussions to improve engineering workflows.
