Job Details

Degree in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
Proven experience as a Medical Writer, specifically in the healthcare industry.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific information.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and TGA regulatory requirements.
Understanding of content marketing strategies and SEO principles.
Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Proven ability to work across both scientific/medical content and creative campaign messaging.
Proficiency in approval systems and project management software.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from performance metrics.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results.

Translate commercial and marketing briefs into evidence-based medical content that meets campaign objectives while maintaining scientific integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, legal and design, to ensure medical content supports overall business objectives.
Conduct thorough research on medical and scientific topics to gather up-to-date relevant information.
Develop medical content from ideation to publication, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Interpret and synthesise complex data from medical studies, clinical trials, and other sources, presenting it clearly, accurately, and compellingly.
Write, proofread, and copyedit evidence-based content across formats including eDMs, medical education, sales collateral, digital content, advertising, and conference slides.
Ensure compliance with TGA guidelines and internal review workflows.
