Requirements
- Demonstrable experience writing and editing high-quality content covering gambling, iGaming, or closely related industries
- Excellent research, fact-checking, and source evaluation skills, with a clear understanding of editorial standards and accuracy
- Strong working knowledge of SEO principles, including search intent, keyword research, content optimization, and content refreshes
- Ability to research and turn complex topics, data, and industry developments into clear, engaging, and unique content
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to be flexible with deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Genuine interest in the gambling and betting industry, with a strong understanding of the audience, and broader industry trends
- Ability to work independently, use sound editorial judgement, and take ownership of projects from brief through to publication
Responsibilities
- Commission, brief, write, and edit high-quality gambling-focused features, explainers, data-pieces and informational content
- Work with the management team to manage a network of freelancers and subject matter experts where gaps are identified and resource is needed
- Conduct thorough research on gambling and iGaming related topics to ensure accuracy, relevance and authority
- Update and refresh existing content to improve its SEO performance, and maintain its relevance over time
- Work with other teams to ensure content aligns with broader business and marketing goals
