Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs or environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to maintain required clearance eligibility.
- Experience working with SharePoint and managing structured information systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with experience supporting leadership and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality results in a remote environment.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) certification or equivalent Defense Acquisition University (DAU) cost estimating credentials is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial analysis and support for defense-related programs, responding proactively and reactively to short- and long-term leadership requests.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop high-quality deliverables, including communication strategies, executive briefs, point papers, and analytical reports.
- Analyze program financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations for improvement.
- Support strategic initiatives focused on financial data collection, organization, control, maintenance, and accessibility.
- Develop clear and accurate reporting materials to support leadership decision-making and program objectives.
- Manage moderately complex assignments independently while handling more complex projects with appropriate guidance and feedback.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule and meet established quality standards.
- Apply strong organizational and analytical skills to improve financial processes and operational effectiveness.
