Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in program financial management, budgeting, or acquisition support for government programs.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with large datasets in a Data Visualization tool like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Advanced understanding of SQL, including query optimization, CTEs, and complex joins.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
- Excellent communication skills for gathering requirements and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
- Ability to pass a background investigation.
- Experience developing PowerApps and Power Automate solutions is preferred.
- Experience using SAP is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and optimize dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI and other visualization tools.
- Design, build, and maintain data ETL pipelines from sources such as SQL databases, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Track, monitor, and reconcile program budgets, spend plans, obligations, and expenditures.
- Collaborate with end users and technical resources to integrate data outputs into visualizations.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, digestible insights for stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with DHS/CBP financial policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Support strategic financial projects and prepare briefings for senior executives.
