Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Proven experience owning a full monthly close as a Controller, Head of Finance, or equivalent.
- Experience operating in the US market.
- Experience with inventory and fixed asset accounting in a physical business environment.
- Experience with multi-state payroll and tax compliance.
- Experience managing accounting staff and outsourced service providers.
- Experience building financial processes from the ground up.
- Strong systems implementation or migration skills.
- Proficiency in Russian language.
Responsibilities
- Own the preparation and accuracy of the P&L, cash flow statement, and balance sheet.
- Manage inventory and fixed assets, including capitalization and depreciation policies for bikes, batteries, and spare parts.
- Maintain the financial model, build annual and quarterly budgets, and track actual performance against plans.
- Build and enforce financial control functions, including spend approvals, segregation of duties, and cash management.
- Manage in-house accounting staff and outsourced accounting providers.
- Oversee payroll, multi-state tax registrations, audit readiness, and statutory reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on pricing, new city launches, and vendor contract processes.
