Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in North Carolina.
  • Ability to support a diverse caseload of patients of all ages and conditions.
  • Commitment to providing at least 30 hours a week of patient care availability.
  • Availability for at least 16 hours of direct care after 2pm local time.
  • Ability to work until 8pm two evenings per week.
  • Demonstrated passion for evidence-based eating disorder treatment.
  • Strong ability to effectively deliver clinical care in a virtual/telehealth setting.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Must be able to attend mandatory meetings such as supervision and treatment huddles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting.
  • Implement family-based treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), and cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID.
  • Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients with 20-26 hours of direct care per week.
  • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, and family mentors.
  • Utilize between-session messaging and document patient care in the EMR.
  • Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision, and department meetings.
  • Maintain home state licensure and obtain additional state licenses as requested.
