Requirements
- Previous work experience as an HR Manager.
- Direct experience with payroll processing and a willingness to be hands-on when needed.
- In-depth knowledge of labor legislation in Ukraine.
- In-depth knowledge of labor legislation in at least one of: Serbia, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Ability to navigate and solve problems for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to learn and effectively use new technology.
- Prior experience managing and developing a team.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert for clients regarding employment legislation, local customs, and complex HR queries.
- Manage and develop a team of Local Representatives, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluation.
- Support payroll operations by acting as a backup for the Payroll Manager, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Shape regional HR strategy by working with Compliance and leadership to optimize processes and service offerings.
- Handle client onboarding, offboarding, and special projects such as M&A/TUPE advisory.
- Serve as an escalation point for account managers and clients to resolve complex HR and payroll issues.
