Requirements
- Proven experience building and shipping production-quality backend systems, APIs, or data pipelines.
- Experience building agentic systems or working with LLM APIs in production environments.
- Ability to work effectively in unfamiliar codebases and constraints set by other teams.
- Strong technical communication skills to partner directly with customer architects and engineering leads.
- Experience with live production deployments in a customer-facing or embedded engineering context.
- Ability to manage a full technical engagement lifecycle from design to handoff.
- Bonus: Experience in forward-deployed or customer-embedded engineering roles.
- Bonus: Background in streaming or real-time data systems like Kafka, Flink, or Redpanda.
- Bonus: Experience working in regulated industries or air-gapped environments.
Responsibilities
- Write production-quality agents, integrations, and data pipelines on Redpanda ADP inside the customer’s environment.
- Ramp up quickly on unfamiliar codebases and data environments to extend systems without disruption.
- Design and own technical deliverables, ensuring handoff is documented, maintainable, and production-ready.
- Act as the primary technical partner for the customer’s engineering team to build trust and ensure seamless integration.
- Train customer teams and write documentation to facilitate successful handoff and reduce dependencies.
- Synthesize feedback from engagements to help productize common requirements for the internal Engineering team.
